HMS Chiddingfold

The HMS Chiddingfold, or 'Cheery Chid' as she is colloquially known in the Royal Navy, is one of the smallest ships currently in service.

The Hunt Class Mine-Hunter was built by Vosper Thornycroft and launched in October 1983 by Lady Anne Kennon. She formally entered service with the Royal Navy in October 1984.
